GBH AMBASSADORS

AMAZING AMBASSADORS DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Every bike shop looks for cyclists in our community that lead by example, are friendly, encouraging and want to turn more people onto our amazing sport and culture. Giant Bicycle Halifax is proud to have three official Liv/ Giant Ambassadors helping us in 2021, along with an army of other very worthy Ambassadors who contribute, support and participate in many of our events.

Our three official Giant/Liv Ambassadors are Jeanne Ju, lola doucet, and Jonathan Hilder. Each of them support and nurture our cycling community in different ways, but all have a very firm belief that cycling provides an avenue towards better health, both physically and mentally for all who have the ability to participate. We thank them for their past, present and future assistance, and hope that 2021 provides everybody with many more opportunities than last year to get outdoors and enjoy riding their bike.

JEANNE JU

Jeanne is a well rooted participant in our cycling, run, and tri community. She also enjoys yoga, and has staged numerous LIV clinics and activities over the past years. In 2020 Jeanne hosted a "Love Your Brain Yoga" clinic, and is world famous for her super successful "Full Moon Rides." Thanks Jeanne for being an amazing ambassador to our sport.

JONATHAN HILDER

Jonathan started riding again years ago to get fit. He is an active all year round commuter, participates in road and the cyclocross racing, and stages a once a year "Cabot Trail Group Ride. Jonathan has managed our GBH group road rides, as well as our Saturday Zwift meetups since COVID. Thanks Jonathan for promoting our great sport to so many others.

LOLA DOUCET

Lola got hooked on cycling years ago after joining a casual MTB group ride. She's active with coaching young Nova Scotia cyclists, and has staged numerous women's MTB clinics/ rides over the past few years. She's also acting co-President of Bicycle Nova Scotia. Thanks Lola for helping to grow our sport and welcoming new riders to our community.
